Andrew is a passionate Maths teacher who has vast experience in Maths Leadership. He has experience line managing staff including lead practitioners over the years. His deep knowledge of the subject enables him to deliver from Year 7 to Year 13 and he uses different teaching styles to make the lessons both engaging and accessible to every student. He uses data to inform his teaching practice and he tries to ensure that the application of Maths in the world is linked wherever possible.
When I worked with him he started a few very successful initiatives that continued even after he left and he was also working with Primary schools to raise the attainment of Maths. He worked with LSA to get their Maths to level 2 and they sat for their GCSE and many of them passed which meant that they were capable of supporting students better.
