Bay Area virtuosos in recital Essay

Students rarely see their teachers putting into practice what they
preach, but at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music’s new
recital series, it’s the teachers’ turn to perform. And
you’re invited. Monday evening solos and duets star the
conservatory’s faculty, several of whom are also members of the San
Francisco Symphony.

Concerts are held in the school’s small Hellman Hall, which
seats just 300 and has redwood paneling for good acoustics.
Performances begin at 8 P.M.
