Math and Biology Math is one of the most important subjects to learn in school. Math is a subject that a lot of people seem to have problems with and the one that seems to get to a lot of people. But math is also one of the most helpful for certain careers having to do with science. The best example of a science career would most likely be “Biology’. Biology is a field in science dealing with the study of life and living things, including heir structure, function, growth, evolution, distribution, and taxonomy. In Biology, they have multiple different branches dealing with certain living things like Archeology, Herpetology, and Marine Biology.
They also have Ecology, Evolutionary Biology, and Astrology, as a part of the branches. All of the branches of Biology deal with certain things and animal species but, one deals with almost exclusively mathematics. This branch of biology is called “Mathematical/Theoretical Biology or Bioinformatics. Bioinformatics is a branch of biology that deals with a range of applications in biology, biotechnology, and medicine while also using mathematical areas such as calculus, linear algebra and statistics as tools to conduct research in the field. Bioinformatics can be considered as one of the hardest forms of Biology branches because; it requires multiple different routes from other careers to get into the field. The main one being mathematics.
By mastering mathematics you can Join this career and learn a lot about it. One thing you could learn from it is to determine if your research pays off and if you made a new discovery. If you did, you could name it after you and possibly increase the knowledge of the field and bring it to new heights. Overall, Biology is a constantly changing career with many different branches and many different possibilities on different things in the world and how they work.
