COLLEGE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (VIER APP)
Manual Process of this requires a lot many of records to maintain. College authorities need to
take care to store each and every student detail and also their examination details. Manual
process requires man power. Existing System is manual process. Data Security is not provided
in this system. Integrating data is also a problem in this system. It is not User-friendly system.
This Project is basically aimed in providing latest technologies & trends to the College sector
service, so that college can store their student’s records like details of student, attendance ;
semester marks which can be viewed by Administrator It is a comprehensive student
information management system developed from the ground up to fulfil the needs of
independent Colleges as they guide their students to success. The Education Edge integrated
information management system connects operations in the College environment Admissions
and Registration, Marks Reports, Attendance Reports, Course Details, Semester details. This
reduces data error and ensures that information is always up-to-date throughout the College.

1. INTRODUCTION TO DOMAIN / PROJECT:
VIER-APP deals with all kind of student details, academic related reports, college details,
course details, curriculum, batch details and other resource related details too.
It tracks all the details of a student from the day one to the end of his course which can be used
for all reporting purpose, tracking of attendance, progress in the course, completed semesters
years, coming semester year curriculum details, exam details, project or any other assignment
details, final exam result; and all these will be available for future references too.
Our program will have the databases of Courses offered by the college under all levels of
graduation or main streams, teacher or faculty’s details, batch execution details, students’
details in all aspects.
This program can facilitate us explore all the activities happening in the college, even we can
get to know which teacher / faculty is assigned to which batch, the current status of a batch,
attendance percentage of a batch and upcoming requirements of a batch.
Different reports and Queries can be generated based of vast options related to students, batch,
course, teacher / faculty, exams, semesters, certification and even for the entire college.

2. EMPATHY MAPPING
DESCRIPTION: –
This exercise allows us to better analyse the desires and needs of the USERs like student’s faculties
and in the process uncover previously unseen or noticed ways to improve a service. it’s a very
simplistic way to identify and reduce the potential hurdles, we are better able to please our
customer.

Ideation is the creative process of generating, developing and communicating new ideas, where as
an idea is understood as a basic element of thought that can be visual, concrete, or abstract.

Production canvas is the over view of the product we are making. In this we will start building a

6. MIND MAPPING CANVAS
“A mind map is a visual representation of hierarchical information that includes a central idea
surrounded by connected branches of associated topics”.
Mind mapping is a highly effective way of getting information in and out of your brain. Mind mapping
is a creative and logical means of note-taking and note-making that literally “maps out” your ideas.

8. FUTURE ENHANCEMENT
? In future, we want to build or develop a system that uses the application
concept and want to make lives of each and every student, parents and college
more reliable, easy and convenient.
? We are looking forward to enhance this concept and register a patent of our
name.

9. CONCLUSION
An Android based mobile application for College Management System is presented.
The application offers reliability, time savings and easy control. It can be used as a
base for creating and enhancing applications for viewing results, tracking attendance
for colleges or any workplace. Students and their parents will also view results,
attendance and curriculum details using this application. Also, students can view
details, notifications anywhere and anytime.
The application will greatly simplify and speed up the result preparation and
management process. It includes advertisement of the college thus satisfying the
marketing criteria to showcase its facilities to the HSC and diploma students. It
provides high security and a system that reduces the work and resources required in
traditional process. The proposed system provides the new way of computing and
displaying operations with responsive and attractive user-interface
