Post-modernism can be described as reality is constructed

Post-modernism can be described as reality is constructed, and so there are many diverse views of reality. An intellectual stance grounded in the concept that reality is constructed, that every individual and certainly every society has a version of actuality that is inimitable, and that no single version of reality is any more honored than another. The most direct way that Postmodernism and Social Constructionism conflict with Christian beliefs is that both reject transcendence. Christian beliefs are entrenched in the attendance of transcendence in consciousness. Social Constructionism clashes with this. As Social Constructionism stresses that the development of jointly constructed understandings of the world, it is not congruent with the unity that Christianity presents. At the same time, social construction assumes that understanding, significance, and meaning are developed not separately within.
