The statistic above shows that Male has dominated in the past four years as they have more the average 67% then the females. It clearly shows that there is gender inequality in Facebook Company for the women’s. Facebook then hired Maxine Williams as its global director of diversity in 2013 to improve its diversity in every category (Business insider, 2016). It has been four years since Maxine William took up the role, but there isn’t any drastic incremental on the female employees in Facebook company. The number of female employees has just increased 1% from 2014 to 2016 and 2% in 2017. This shows that they are still having problem in sorting out this issue.
